Xmas Tree

Venue: St Peter’s Church Hall, Lutton Place, Edinburgh

After last year’s success, St Peter’s Church Hall will provide the hyggelige surroundings for our Christmas gathering. Come along and sample traditional seasonal refreshments like gløgg and æbleskiver, purchase Danish Christmas goods or have a go at making traditional Danish Christmas decorations such as julestjerner, julehjerter and borddekorationer. If you are interested in selling any Christmas products, you can book a table for £5, but please let us know in advance.
Once again, top quality Norman Fir Christmas trees (1.70-1.90m), kindly donated by Jens Christian Jensen (Danish Softwood), can be purchased for only £15 ! (Delivery within Edinburgh available for an additional charge of £5). This year we kindly ask you to put in an advance order and specify whether you would like to pick up the tree on the day of the party or organise a home delivery. Please contact Jonas Andersen (07974307031) to take advantage of this great offer.

As always, we will be singing and dancing around the Christmas tree and keep our fingers crossed that Santa will manage to find us! However, please help him out by letting us know in advance how many children are coming as well as their ages and names. (Please send Santa an e-mail on info@danishscottishsociety.org before 16th November and we’ll pass it on!)
We look forward to seeing you for a bit of julehygge!

Entry fee: 50p per child and £1 per adult (includes a raffle ticket). This charge is purely to cover the cost of hiring the hall.
